What’s something you used to believe as a kid that seems ridiculous now?
As children, many of us believed things that now make us smile. Some thought the moon followed them home, others believed that swallowing a seed would make a tree grow inside them. Childhood is filled with innocent ideas shaped by imagination and wonder.
Looking back, these beliefs may seem ridiculous, yet they remind us of the beauty of simplicity and the joy of seeing the world through innocent eyes. As we grow older, wisdom replaces many misconceptions, but we should never lose the childlike faith that believes in hope, possibilities, and miracles.
Sometimes, what appears foolish in childhood teaches us an important lesson: life is best lived with curiosity, humility, and faith.
“When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” (1 Corinthians 13:11)
