If you had to switch lives with a fictional character for a week, who would you choose?
It is an interesting question, but the Bible reminds us that we do not need to become someone else to discover purpose. God created each of us uniquely and gave us a journey that cannot be exchanged with another person’s.
David did not need to become Moses. Esther did not need to become Deborah. Joseph did not need to become Daniel. Each person had a different assignment, yet God used them for His purpose.
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works.” ( Ephesians 2:10).
Instead of wishing for another person’s life, ask God: “Lord, help me fulfill the purpose You have placed within me.”
Your story may not look like someone else’s, but God can use your life to bring hope, faith, and transformation to others.
Be faithful to your journey. Your purpose is worth discovering.
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5)
